Customs and Excise

The Firm regularly represents clients in course of Customs proceedings, advises on provisions of customs rules and regulations, appears before Hearing Officers of Port and Customs, conducts writ proceedings before the High Courts and advises clients on laws governing export and import of goods.

The Firm has been part of several successful Writ Petitions on behalf of container agents/shipping lines for release of marine containers abandoned or left uncleared by importers at Port premises.
